Sheila Baker of “Ambassadors Providing Amazing Care”
Sheila spoke about the importance of providing in-home care for the elderly and to make their last years of their life as comfortable as possible. To illustrate, she gave an example of an 85 year old woman who’s family felt it was time to clear out her surroundings. Unfortunately due to the disruption of her environment the woman became depressed and died only days later.

Roberta Brunett with “Your HomeTown Sewing Center”

Roberta spoke about the decisions we make as children and how it effects our adult life. In Roberta’s case she recalls life in the third grade and how she was fascinated with history (the origins of things) and loved learning to count money and organizing. Fifty years later she finds her self running a sewing retail store which requires her to organize materials, research the origins of specific textiles and how common patterns developed. She also related an interesting fact about how the textiles industry gave birth to the first computer systems.
